Homes across north east Essex burgled
5:25pm Sunday 21st October 2012 in News
BURGLARS have struck at several homes across north east Essex.
Detectives believe two break ins in Claton may be linked.
Thieves forced the front door of a flat on Selsey Avenue during the daytime on Friday, October 19.
It is thought the owner's dog frightened them away and they left empty handed.
The burglars then may have struck again when a satellite set-top box was stolen from a flat on Beach Road.
It happened sometime between 6pm Friday, October 19, and 9am the following day.
Thieves also stole a metal boiler and copper piping from a bungalow on Humber Avenue, Jaywick, after forcing the window.
It happened sometime between Wednesday, August 29, and Sunday, October 14.
Two televisions, a games console, laptop, cash and jewellery were also taken in a Harwich burglary.
The door of a patio to the Orwell Road home was forced sometime between Sunday, October 7 and Sunday, October 14.
Anyone with information should call Essex POlice on 101.

At the moment we are being made to tolerate this nonsense because there is no jail space and the low lifes who are in jail probably get better food and lodgings than some people who have never done wrong in their lives.
Round up the scum who are doing this and make them do hard jail time them on a wet and cold prison island until they learn that civilised society won't tolerate there nonsense any more.

Calls to 101 (from both landlines and mobile networks) cost 15 pence per call, no matter what time of day you call, or how long you are on the phone.
Why does it cost 15p to call 101?
The 15p cost of the call goes to the telephony providers to cover the cost of carrying the calls. The police and government receive no money from calls to 101.
Everyone calling the police for non-emergency matters now knows exactly how much a call will cost them, and can be assured of equal access whether they are on a pay-as-you-go mobile or a home landline.
You get robbed twice!!!
