Delivery driver beaten during double robbery

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after two robberies and a violent assault in Colchester.
Officers were called to Cheveling Way at 9.20pm on Tuesday after a takeway delivery driver was badly beaten and robbed.
They were called again to Old Heath Road after a second robbery outside a supermarket 30 minutes later.
A man has been arrested and bailed while police continue the investigation.
