Public meeting to be held over land proposals

A PUBLIC meeting is to be held over plans to earmark land at Horsley Cross for industrial use.

Tendring Council has drawn up its draft local plan including a proposal to set aside 55 acres of land at Horsley Cross for employment uses.

But the decision has enraged residents living nearby and now a public meeting is to be held to give them a chance to air their views.

It will be held at Great Bromley Village Hall on Friday November 16 at 7.30pm and district and county councillors are also due to attend.
