End of the road for pot-holes

WORK is due to begin next week on improvements to a notorious Colchester road.

More than £2 million is due to be spent to widen and rebuild the uneven and pothole-ridden Berechurch Road.

Advance works will begin on Monday and will see work carried out to remove hedges and trees along both sides of road between Berechurch Hall Road and Gurdon Road.

If they're done as well as the potholes in my area they won't last long!

Two million pounds?
Seems a little excessive to me, especially in a time of a great depression.

I've got some tarmac left over and I'll do it for £1.5m if they're interested?
