Historic views of Dedham Vale restored

HISTORIC views of the Dedham Vale have been restored after a £330,000 project to remove overhead power lines.


UK Power Networks have completed the scheme which has seen three kilometres of overhead cables near Stoke by Nayland moved underground.

So if it costs £110k per kilometre to bury power lines underground - a bargain, and why can't it be done in other emblightened parts of the countryside?
