Burgled family reunited with property ten hours later

A FAMILY who was burgled had their items returned to them ten hours after their house was hit.
A laptop, phone and car keys were stolen during a burglary on Lee Road, Dovercourt, on October 1.
Police gained a search warrant to raid a house in Birch Avenue and ten hours later all the items were recovered.
Mitchell Attwood, 22, was arrested at Birch Avenue and admitted receiving stolen goods and possessing cannabis when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 2.
He was given a 12 week prison sentence for receiving stolen goods and no separate penalty for possessing cannabis.
He was in breach of a suspended sentence and the court also activated a ten week imprisonment.
