Independent crime panel members wanted

RESIDENTS are wanted to be independent members on the new Police and Crime Panel for Essex.
When the new Police and Crime Commissioner is elected on November 15 the panel will oversee their work and hold the commissioner to account.
The panel will be made up of a representative of each council in the Essex Police area, plus two independent members.
Sitting on the Panel is a voluntary four year term, and travel costs will be funded.
