'I'll sue hospital,' says care worker mum

A CARE worker who vowed never to work for Colchester General Hospital again says she may take legal action against the trust.

Katie Browning claims a kidney problem was not properly treated when she was admitted to hospital two weeks ago, after going into early labour.

As a result, she contracted the bacteria pseudomonas, leaving her in terrible pain because a filter drain was not cleaned for five days.

Now Miss Browning is home with “miracle” son Zac, who was born with the same kidney infection and jaundice on Saturday, October 6.
