Station staff praised for customer service

A TRAIN dispatcher at Colchester North Station has been recognised after scoring top marks in a mystery shopper survey.

Ray Pettitt scored 100 per cent for his friendly, helpful manner and excellent rapport with customers when he was assessed in September.

Area customer service manager for Greater Anglia Sham Rashid said: “Ray is dedicated to his job role and enjoys his job. He loves to help people get from A to B.

“He does his job with a smile on his face and stands apart with his general uniform standards. He is a great asset to the team here at Colchester.”

If only the miserable wotsits in the ticket office took some advise from Ray!

In my experience the station staff, including in the ticket office, are always helpful. But well done, Ray Pettitt.
