Road crash - two people trapped

TWO casualties have had to be rescued by fire fighters following a crash in Wivenhoe.
Fire engines from the town along with others from Colchester were sent to the two-vehicle collision in Station Road just after 6pm.
The first casualty was cut out of a vehicle by 6.40pm and the second freed around 7pm.
Both patients have been treated by ambulance crews.
The condition of each patient is currently unknown.
