Banned: Ashley and Kelvin Mathers Banned: Ashley and Kelvin Mathers

In today's Gazette: Two brothers have been banned from the entire Colchester borough.

Kelvin Mathers, 31, and his brother Ashley, 29, have clocked up 80 convictions between them. Now Colchester Council and Essex Police have had enough and have had a court order granted to ban the brothers from setting foot in the borough.

* Celebrated Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry and Kath Wood, founding director of the Firstsite gallery, have been awarded honorary doctorates by Colchester Institute.

* Almost £900,000 has been spent on private medical insurance for Essex County Council staff.

* Gambling addict Richard Melia, 51, raked in thousands of pounds online while claiming benefits.

Melia, of Friday Wood Green, Colchester, admitted wrongly claiming £17,000 and has been ordered to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work.

How exactly do they enforce this ban?
With 80 convictions beween them I'm pretty sure they will be laughing at this.

They were both in Clacton today **** out of their heads. They have spent half their life in prison. They dont care. Need a lethal injection. ****.

i was at primary school in the last year when i got into a fight with a pupil. at the end of the school day i got punched in the face by the guy on the left he was at least 10 years older than me lol still see there is no change
