Public meeting into reservoir plans

A public meeting is to be held into plans for a reservoir in Great Bromley.

Essex County Council turned down the proposals for a reservoir in Carrington's Road but the applicants have now lodge an appeal.

A meeting is being held on Thursday in Ardleigh Village Hall starting at 7.30pm to give residents a chance to air their views.

It would be nice if it was publicly accessible for walkers. The nearby Ardleigh Reservoir is littered with confusing signs about access.
