A LEADING housebuilder is cementing its ties with the community by sponsoring a junior football team for the second year running.


Wivenhoe Town’s U9s side sported a brand new Nike kit and rain jackets last year thanks to a £500 donation from developers Taylor Wimpey East London.


But as many of the players have outgrown last year’s kit, this year’s sponsorship will pay for another kit for the team, now the U10s.

Most of the youth football teams in this area have their shirts sponsored by a local firm, but we never see stories about them in the Gazette. Did Taylor Wimpey pay for this advertorial?
