Pedestrian injured after colliding with a car in Stanway

A WOMAN has been seriously injured after being hit by a car.
Police and paramedics were called to the Tollgate roundabout at the junction with London Road, Colchester, just before 9am this morning.
A woman, aged in her 20s, has been rushed to Colchester General Hospital.
By 10.45am the junction was still partially blocked while police investigate the incident on or near the pedestrian crossing.
Any witnesses call Colchester police on 101.
