Coastal wardens to safeguard Essex shores

COASTAL wardens are being introduced to keep Essex beaches clean and safe.
The joint venture between charity, Conservation Volunteers, and Essex Council will see our 350 miles of coastline safeguarded by the scheme.
It launches at Cudmore Grove country park, East Mersea at 10.30am on Sunday.
Organisers are seeking volunteers to become the ears and eyes of coastal regions.
