Mystery thugs cover cars in paintstripper

A MOTHER and daughter are terrified after their cars were covered in paint-stripper within the space of a week.

Marilyn Newcome, 59, says she has no idea why she and her elderly mother Betty, 79, are being targeted.

On the morning of Wednesday, September 13 they discovered Marilyn’s Suzuki Splash, left in the driveway of their Catherine Hunt Way, had been covered with a substance that was causing the paintwork to “fizz and bang”.

The following Monday night, Betty’s Fiat Panda, was damaged in the same way.
Betty’s car was attacked the same way 18 months ago, Marilyn added, with the overall damage estimated at £16,000.

Cowardly scum, really hard targeting two old lady's at night, hopefully someone catches you and pours paint stripper all over you, hope you die horrible deaths

personally...in the last 18months...i would have installed a sensor type floodlight....or a cctv..albeit a dummy one to deter these idiots

Paint stripper is dangerous stuff,perhaps we should be on the look out for anyone with injuries to their hands - perhaps with gloves on to cover their cowardly act?
