Free support in "Stoptober" for anyone who wants to quit the habit

SMOKERS who want to quit the habit can get free nicotine replacement products as part of a Government drive.

The Colchester and Tendring NHS Stop Smoking service will offer the patches as part of Stoptober, the first ever mass quit attempt by the Department of Health.

On offer will be a 10-week course, a step-by-step programme and regular advice.

Ah, so we now have Stoptober for smokers, Movember for moustache growers...how about Obesember for people trying to lose weight?
