A COLCHESTER councillor is to step down as chairman of a north Essex housing association.
Bill Frame was vice chairman of Colne Housing from 2004 to 2007 before being elected chairman.
During that time he has helped the association expand to managing 3,000 homes.
The Lib Dem councillor for Castle ward will remain a board member. He is also a board member of Iceni Homes and is an associate mental health manager.
Chief executive Mark Powell Davies said: “Bill has played a vital role in the organisation over the last five years, and the contribution he has made to the business during that time has been one of the reasons for our continuous growth and success.”
