Satisfaction stats on the increase for mental health trust

PATIENTS who use mental health services in north Essex say the care they receive is improving.

The annual satisfaction survey charts how the North Essex Partnership progresses each year and compares it with other trusts.

Overall, the results show the trust has improved, most especially in the ‘day to day living’ category, which had results much lower than most other trusts last year.

The trust is among the best in the country when it comes to patients understanding their care plans and is the best in the country for providing out of hours care.

North Essex Partnership was given an overall rating of 7.3 out of 10, with the best in the country being 7.8.

Andrew Geldard, trust chief executive, said: “These are good results but we know that people don’t have a choice so we must provide outstanding care for all.”
