CYCLISTS are wanted to raise cash for a Colchester recovery centre for the armed forces.
A charity bike ride taking in the north Essex countryside this Sunday is collecting money for Chavasse House, the Help for Heroes recovery centre in Colchester.
Riders are invited to pedal one of three routes starting at the recovery centre, in Berechurch Road, to help meet the centre’s running costs.
The centre is currently part funded by the charity and the Royal British Legion.
To register to take part in the ride visit helpforheroes.org.uk/challenges-2012-colchester, email challenges@helpforheroes.org.uk, or call 01725 514106.
- Riders can also sign up on the day, with the 70 mile route beginning at 8.30am, the 35 mile distance at 9.30am and the 10 mile ride commencing at 11.30am.
