IN TODAY'S GAZETTE: TERRIFIED CLUBBERS FLEE DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

IN TODAY'S GAZETTE: A TOWN centre bar was peppered wth bullets during a drive-by shooting in Queen Street, Colchester.

Shoots were aimed at TP Sports Bar - three of which narrowly missed a bouncer.

Two men have been charged with attempted murder and are due to appear in court today.

* Two teenagers have died in a crash on their way to a charity motorbike run.

The 18 and 17-year-olds were on a bike on their way to the Essex Air Ambulance fundraising ride when they were involved in a collision with a tractor in Stow Maries on Sunday morning.

* A riding instructor has been banned from owning or controlling horses for five years after she admitted neglect.

Chanzena-Lei Eagle, 19, of Maldon Road, Colchester, admitted one count of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and one of failing to ensure the welfare of an animal.

* A PENSIONER who systemically abused two girls has been jailed for 12 years.

Anthony Coulson, 79, of Cyril Child Close, Greenstead, Colchester, admitted rape, attempted rape and indecent assault.

ah, garden centres in town now?

Q. would the proposed car ban in colchester have stopped this drive by "shooting"
(or throwing of newly grown vegetables or flowers)
