Harvest with a difference planned for Colchester

COLLECTIONS for a harvest with a difference will take place this weekend.
Castle Methodist Church, in Maidenburgh Street, is substituting fruit and vegetables with dry goods, canned fruits and packaged vegetables which can then be donated to Colchester Foodbank.
Anyone wanting to donate items or cases can take them to the church between 10am and noon on Saturday or to the service on Sunday at 10.30am.
Any fresh fruit and vegetables donated will be sold and money raised donated to the foodbank.
