Colchester's Dermot O’Leary marries on Friday

FORMER Colchester schoolboy Dermot O’Leary is to marry girlfriend Dee Koppang tomorrow.

The X Factor presenter will wed producer Dee at a church in London.

Dermot, an Irish Catholic, has organised a traditional ceremony and has reportedly invited former X Factor contestants to the shindig, which could include Essex boys Olly Murs and Matt Cardle.

Dermot, 39, was born in Colchester and went to primary school in Marks Tey, before attending St Benedict’s Catholic College and Colchester Sixth Form College.

He featured on several high profile TV and radio shows before landing the job as X Factor presenter in 2007.

Because the wedding is in the middle of the latest series of the TV talent show, the pair are having to put their honeymoon on hold.
