DETERMINED teenagers are aiming to swim the English Channel.
Five youngsters hope to step into water at Dover in the early hours of tomorrow morning to begin the epic 22 mile challenge.
Colchester Sixth Form College students Alanah Keeble, 17, of Sudbury Road, Halstead, Ed Clark, 18, of Colne Engaine, James Rulton, 16, of Windmill Road, Halstead, and Kai Adams, 16, of White Horse Avenue, Halstead, along with Braintree College’s Alice Park, 17, of Tidings Hill, Halstead - are all members of Halstead Swimming Club.
Ed said they will swim in relay for an hour at a time to complete the challenge.
