'Muggy' heads to town promoting world's largest coffee morning

A GIANT green mug came to Colchester to promote the world’s largest coffee morning.
The annual event held to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support takes place on Friday September 28.
To drum up support Muggy visited two Macmillan teams hosting coffee mornings, the information and support unit at Essex County Hospital and the welfare and benefits advice service at Colchester Council ’s Rowan House offices.
Macmillan volunteer Annie McGrath said: “I think it’s really important to remind people of the fantastic services on their doorstep and hopefully everyone will be inspired to help by taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning.”
