Woman charged after man dies in Tiptree road crash

A WOMAN has been charged with causing death by careless driving.
Charlie Punter, 25, of Vicarage Court, Colchester, died following a crash near Tiptree last December.
The collision happened when a Ford Ka and a Ford Ranger collided on the B1023 Kelvedon Road at Inworth, near Tiptree around 5:40pm on Monday, December 12.
Charlie was a passenger in the Ford Ka.
The driver, a 29-year-old woman from Colchester, was taken to hospital and arrested the following day.
She has now been charged with causing the death of Mr Punter by driving without due care and attention.
She will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court later this month.
