Families homes burgled while they were asleep upstairs

BURGLARS raided Army homes while families slept upstairs.
Police were called to three properties on the St Michael’s estate early this morning after people woke to find items stolen.
Others reported hearing people at their back doors.
Police were called to Midway Road at 4am. An X-box and a camera had been stolen.
They were called again at 6am to Hornbeam Close when the family inside found a games console and wallet missing.
The next call was to Ilex Close around the corner at 7am.
Scenes of crimes officers are still taking details.
Officers are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen people acting suspicious between late Wednesday night and the early hours of Thursday morning.
