Crowds gather for oyster festival (From Gazette)

THRONGS of people are heading to Castle Park for the Oyster Festival today.

Children's activities, arts and crafts and ice cream stalls are all on offer alongside seafood from the Essex coast.

The event runs throughout the day.

Hope they thought it was a better event than we did. First time I have been to it and it will certainly be the last.
