Charity offers free first aid training

A FIRST aid charity is urging people to learn how to save a life.
St John Ambulance is offering a series of free first aid demonstrations so residents can learn basic skills which could be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
Training takes place at Asda, Turner Rise, Colchester, on September 15 between 10am and 4pm, with workshops on at Braintree library, Fairfield Road, on the same day from 10am until 1pm.
A second training session is being held at the George Yard Shopping Centre, Braintree, from 9.30am to 5pm on October 6.
