Diesel theft at Ardleigh farm

A MAN has been accused of stealing and spilling diesel from an Ardleigh farm.
A 65-year-old man from Clacton was charged with two counts of theft and one of criminal damage after 68 tonnes of soil was contaminated.
Diesel was taken from a farm in Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh, on Monday, August 20, and again on Friday.
The suspect was released on police bail and will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court next month.
