Man released from bail after train line blocked
3:29pm Tuesday 21st August 2012 in News
A MAN arrested on suspicion of endangering the lives of train passengers has been released from his bail.
In May a car careered off the A12 and ended up on the railway line.
Fire crews winched the Ford Fiesta off the tracks between Marks Tey and Eight Ash Green.
The A12 was closed and trains cancelled.
The driver, a 32-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds, was arrested while officers investigated whether the actions were deliberate.
Essex Police decided this week not to charge the driver with any offences.
