Car overturns after Tiptree crash

AN elderly woman was taken to hospital after crashing into a parked car in Tiptree.
The woman, aged in her 70s, sustained an arm injury when her green Hyundai Accent hit a stationary blue Mini Coupe and overturned.
The incident took place just before 12.45pm today in Chapel Road.
Police and paramedics were called and the driver was taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital.
Her injury is not believed to be serious.
