MORE than 122 million journeys were made by train in the region last year.
Figures released by the Office of Rail Regulation show 7.8 million more journeys were made in East Anglia compared to the previous year, with passengers covering an additional 149.1 million kilometres by rail.
The figures relate to April 2011 to March 2012.
Greater Anglia took over the franchise from National Express East Anglia in February this year.
