Clacton: Police appeal for witnesses after nightclub assault

DETECTIVES are trying to establish whether doormen caused a clubber to sustain a broken collar bone.
The assault happened in Wahoo in Marine Parade West, Clacton, shortly after 11:30pm on Friday, August 3 when a 25-year-old local woman was ejected from the nightclub by doorstaff along with a friend.
She was taken down some steps at the side of the club where she sustained her injury.
Her friend was uninjured.
Investigating officer, Dc Derek Lee, said: "The steps which this woman were taken down are on the seafront side of the club. There is no CCTV footage of the incident so we’re looking to speak with those revellers who saw the woman being ejected by the doorstaff.”
The victim was taken by paramedics to Colchester General Hospital on the night and she then contacted police the following day.
Anyone with information in connection with this assault is urged to contact detectives at Clacton police station on 101.

sounds about right for "bouncers"....some years ago i was "removed" from a nightclub..after a price mix up at the bar....and the lead bouncer hit me in the street ( off the premises) and broke my jaw in 2 places. They tend to be nothing more than fat bulldog type bullies.....and should be monitored more!

i thought bouncers chucking people down the back stairs went out in the 80'S along with football hooligans. Another good reason why people stay away from clacton the owner must be very proud of his contribution to the tourist trade

its been very busy lately..
crowds spilling out the pubs and clubs onto the pavements,
begining to look like colchesters nightlife scene now.
but then Clacton draws 10 times more visitors than old Colchester,
thats why its called a holiday destination!
Nice fish & chip sales on the front next to the drinkers too.
All we need is jellied eels wobblin abart like wonky wheels,
and why?
could be the eastend on sea.
Oh, maybe thats why they film it here.
:)
Eh?
