IN TODAY'S GAZETTE: A TEENAGER who took a bus on a 22-mile rampage across Colchester has been locked up.

Jordan Mann, 18, was more than three times the drink-drive limit when he took the bus from Queen Street.

* A man's body went undiscovered in his warden-controlled flat for "several weeks".

The man, named locally as Mike Heaton, was living at the sheltered housing site at St John's Place, St John's Green, Colchester.

* Colchester's Dominic King will be cheered through the streets of London today by colleagues from the University of Essex.

Dominic, the activities and development manager at the university's Students' Union, is competing for Team GB in the 50km race walk.

* The number of new businesses setting up in Colchester has hit a record high.
