FOOTBALLER Kieron Dyer has been fined for a speeding offence.

The QPR midfielder, of Coney Byes Lane, West Bergholt, previously denied a charge of failing to identify the driver of a Porsche.

He was due to stand trial at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court yesterday but did not appear for the hearing.

Instead, he admitted in his absence to an alternative charge of speeding by driving at 50mph in a 40mph zone in Ipswich.

Ex-Ipswich Town and West Ham star Dyer, 33, who had a clean driving licence, was fined £45 and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge. He had three points added to his licence.
