Disabled residents complain about blocked path
9:57am Friday 3rd August 2012 in News
A BLOCKED pavement which has been making life difficult for residents for months is expected to be cleared this week.
Parts of the path near the junction of Berechurch Road and Mersea Road have been cordoned off and bus stops closed since January while homes are built in
Roberts Road.
As a result elderly people and the disabled have been struggling to get to the shops or into town.
But it is now hoped the path will be cleared by Thursday.

What bout everyone else trying to get to work each day, not just been 'affecting old and disabled people!' I don't fancy been run over having to walk in the road and I am neither disabled or old
Surely even you can see that a more able-bodied person such as yourself would not have as much of a problem navigating hazards as someone in a wheelchair?
Idiot!
