Elderly woman cut free from car in Brightlingsea

AN elderly woman needed medical treatment after a three-car collision in Brightlingsea this afternoon.
The victim, who was driving a Ford Escort, suffered minor injuries in the crash on Church Road.
The accident happened at 3.50pm.
Fire crews from Clacton used heavy cutting gear to take the roof off the car so the woman could be released.
She was left with the ambulance service.
