Vocal success for Wivenhoe singers

A GROUP of singing students from a Wivenhoe theatre school have all passed their grade tests.

Lead by principal Angie Diggens, 13 vocal students at ADP theatre school put their singing skills to the test and passed, securing six distinctions, five merits, and two passes.

Angie, 24, of Field Way, Wivenhoe has been teaching at ADP for the past three years.

She said: “I’m absolutely delighted I have got a 100 per cent pass rate so far, a number of students who got merits last time got distinctions, they really stepped it up I’m really pleased.

“The youngest I teach is ten and the oldest is 18 with one 65 year old.”

In addition to singers Angie also had three piano students take their tests, two receiving distinction and one a pass.

ADP offers classes for any performer from piano lessons to singing and dancing and holds regular productions for students to practice their skills.
