IN TODAY'S GAZETTE: A MOTHER gave birth to a baby girl while she was in a coma.

Emma Mynors, 23, fell ill with pneumonia 28 weeks into her pregnancy and suffered two strokes. She was put into an induced coma at Colchester General Hospital and gave birth to her daughter, Amy, while she was unconscious.

* Arsonists left a trail of destruction after setting fire to cars outside homes in Colchester.

The fire was so intense it caused a care home to be evacuated.

* A crash between a tractor and a van caused the A120 to be closed for three hours yesterday.

* More than 2,000 potholes have been reported in Colchester so far this year.

And what about the story where a bent copper stole 30 bags of police equipment to, allegedly, sell on ebay. No comments allowed on that story. Why? Is it because he has got away with just a police caution!

Not good enough, decisions like this sends out the wrong message!
