Info days for working with learning disabilities

A LEARNING disability charity is running two information days in Colchester and Clacton.
Mencap is inviting people to come along and speak to staff informally about working with people with learning disabilities.
Mencap relief bank manager Chrissie Short said: “We’re looking for people who are motivated and enthusiastic about supporting people with a learning disability.
“This is a great opportunity to find out about the training opportunities and potential career progression Mencap can offer whilst doing a really rewarding job.”
The Colchester event runs from 9am-5pm on Thursday July 5 at Colchester Quaker Meeting House, Church Street, while the Clacton day runs from 10am-3pm on Monday July 9 at Clacton Library, Station Road.
