Colchester Labour Party manifesto launched

A SHADOW government minister came to Colchester to launch Labour’s local election drive.

Angela Eagle, shadow leader of the House of Commons, helped launch Colchester Labour Party’s manifesto ahead of the May 3 elections, which will see 20 of Colchester Council’s 60 seats contested.

The document focuses on tackling anti-social behaviour in the town centre and housing estates, and finding a solution to Colchester’s traffic problems.

Ms Eagles said: "What we see in the manifesto is very practical examples of where Labour choices would be different to Conservative and Lib Dem choices."
