House burnt down in Jaywick

A MAN has been rushed to hospital after his house in Jaywick burnt down.
Firefighters from Clacton were called to Fern Way to tackle the blaze shortly after 6pm this evening.
Half the single-storey home was on fire and a man in his 40s suffered smoke inhalation.
Fire crews managed to extinguish the flames after about 40 minutes.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but will be investigated.
