A LACK of sponsors has forced a networking group to be suspended.
Tonic’s First Friday events usually take place on the first Friday of each month, with a sponsor covering the costs to enable businesses to attend for free.
But organisers from the creative company Tonic, in Tye Road, Colchester, said it had been unable to secure a sponsor and had to charge guests £10 to attend, causing attendance to drop.
The company is taking a break over the summer and will return with the networking group in September.
