Former glamour model Katie Price pulled in the crowds at a Colchester bookshop.

The best-selling author and reality TV star was signing copies of her latest book Katie Price: You Only Live Once at Waterstone’s in High Street.

She greeted more than 200 fans, who had queued along Culver Street West from as early as 6am.

Dozens more gathered at the front of the shop to catch a glimpse of the 32-year-old as she arrived in the High Street followed by an entourage of bodyguards and paparazzi.

I can't bear Jordan, but she is incredibly talented at self promotion. She's made a fortune out of nothing more than her body and her love life. Full credit to the girl. And what a sad reflection of modern society that we've let her!

Our daughter visited us on Saturday, having been into Colchester earlier.

She said that she wondered why there were so many people around Waterstones, not just a lot, but of a ‘particular type’.

She described the scene as “more chav’s & fake suntan than you would expect to see in Colchester on Saturday afternoon”.

Now we no why. How sad. Like seems to attract like! And as for a book, I’ll take any bets you like that she hasn’t written a word of it. I doubt this talentless trollop can even spell her own name.

publicity is a bye word for earning more of something ?
As I live in Essex`s most publicised village at the moment, I bet we have had more free publicity than the barbe doll lookalike!
Unfortunetly, we "dont" get money, whereas KP gets it chucked at her.
Then we get notoriety,

So, to sum up,
are we just as bad as those poor lost souls who queue for hours,

Can't believe how some-one with no talent and false assets attracts so much attention. Show how sad society has become....Hang on, this is one of the most commented stories at the moment and everyone is saying how sad it is but they too are wasting their time commenting on a story about this so called celebrity!
