DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a second sex attack at Essex University within two days.
A 25-year-old, from Colchester, was assaulted by “a number of men” at the Student Union the early hours.
The incident happened at The Bakery at about 3am on Saturday.
It is the second sex attack on the Wivenhoe Park Campus within the space of 48 hours.
On Thursday an 18-year-old student was sexually assaulted at the back of a lecture theatre at 2am after she left a nightclub.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The premises was open and very busy and so detectives are seeking to speak to any people who witnessed anything to come forward.”
The attack happened at about 3am on Saturday.
The men are described as being white and mixed race and in their late teens to early 20s.
