Matron renews her wedding vows at Colchester Hospital

A MATRON renewed her wedding vows at the hospital where she works with colleagues and family members taking on all the roles during the day.

Donna, 46 and Peter Booton, 56, chose their silver wedding anniversary as the perfect time and the chapel at Essex County Hospital, Lexden Road, Colchester, as the perfect location.

The ceremony was conducted by Dr Richard Needle, chief pharmacist at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust who is an ordained minister.

The couple have two sons - Sam, 22 and Tom, 17 - and they have a granddaughter called Summer-Rose who will be two next week.
