A LIFEBOAT crew from Harwich were called out after a mayday call from a yacht when the skipper went overboard.
At about noon on Saturday, September 4, the Harwich RNLI inshore lifeboat and several other boats responded to the call from the yacht Nicty Corat reporting the skipper overboard at the entrance to the river Deben.
His wife raised the alarm but her husband managed to clamber back on board safely and no other help was needed.
