A CYCLIST who went missing during a lunchtime ride has been found safe and well in Southend. Michael Lewis, 79, had not been seen since leaving his home in Chelmsford at 2pm yesterday for a bike ride. Police feared he could have been anywhere in Essex as he had ventured far afield previously. He is being treated for cuts and bruises but is otherwise unharmed.
