Essex's Julie Pratt, the World Junior 100 metres hurdle champion, produced one of the best runs of her career to win a silver medal in the 60m hurdles at the AAA indoor championships at the NIA, in Birmingham.
The Chelmsford Athlete's 8.37, a personal best (PB), saw her beaten by only 0.01 of a second to the gold medal.
"I'm so pleased with that," Julie, 19, said after the final. "I haven't trained for the indoor season, my goal is the Under 23 European championships in July, so to get a personal best and the Silver is fantastic."
